General Safety Information

The SeatSnug® is intended expressly for those uses specifically stated; do not use for any other purpose.

The SeatSnug® is not a replacement or substitute for the use of appropriate seat belts and/or other safety equipment.

The SeatSnug® does not fit all vehicles (see Installation Instructions for details). If the SeatSnug® does not fit your vehicle, return the SeatSnug® with a completed Return Form (review our Return Policy). You will receive a full refund for the SeatSnug® and shipping costs incurred.

Adjustments to the SeatSnug® should be performed with the vehicle safely parked.

The SeatSnug® is equipped with an “on/off” function (an “enable/disable” feature). Switching between these settings should only be done with the vehicle safely parked (stationary).

In any case, Lap Belt Cinch, Inc. shall not be liable for more than the replacement cost of the SeatSnug®. Manufacturer’s and seller’s liability is limited solely to replacement or refund, and in no case is the manufacturer or seller liable for incidental or coincidental damages.

The SeatSnug® is designed ONLY for use with specific factory installed (OEM) standard three-point lap/shoulder harnesses. The “Installing Your SeatSnug®” brochure contains full details.

Appropriate use of the SeatSnug® is at the discretion of the user; do not use if there is the slightest question of appropriateness of application, fit, or safety. If you have questions or concerns, return the SeatSnug® for a refund of the purchase price as described in the Money Back Guarantee.

The user is responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining the SeatSnug® correctly and according to the supplied directions.

Make all seat adjustments before tightening the lap belt with the SeatSnug®. For example, do not tighten the SeatSnug® and then move your seat forward or backward. Move the seat first, then tighten the lap belt.

The SeatSnug® is equipped with an “on/off” function (an “enable/disable” feature). Turn OFF after each use. Doing so will prevent use of the SeatSnug® by someone unfamiliar with its operation. It is your responsibility to prevent an untrained person using an activated (enabled) SeatSnug® in your vehicle.

Prior to each use, check the security of the SeatSnug® installation and examine the seat belt for signs of wear or other concerns.

In the event that a loose fit or wear is seen or suspected, remove the SeatSnug® until the seat belt or SeatSnug® is replaced.

All driving is inherently dangerous and is performed under a wide range of conditions and/or driver skills, all of which are uncontrollable by Lap Belt Cinch, Inc. Lap Belt Cinch, Inc. accepts no responsibility for the consequences of vehicle use or driver actions whether or not the SeatSnug® is used.

The SeatSnug® purchaser assumes responsibility and liability for any and all uses and all users, including all restrictions, conditions, and disclaimers provided with the device.

In the event a SeatSnug® is in use in a vehicle at the time of an accident or other impact, discontinue use of the SeatSnug® at once and remove it at first opportunity. The SeatSnug® should be returned to Lap Belt Cinch, Inc. for a free replacement.

In any case, Lap Belt Cinch, Inc. shall not be liable for more than the replacement cost of the SeatSnug. Manufacturer’s and seller’s liability is limited solely to replacement or refund, and in no case is the manufacturer or seller liable for incidental or coincidental damages.

At this time, SeatSnug® should not be used for child car seats, infant seats, or post-booster-seat children.

Limitation or Warranty

Lap Belt Cinch, Inc. hereby excludes all Warranties of Merchantability and Fitness, and shall not be liable under such Warranties. Lap Belt Cinch, Inc. is not responsible for mis-statements or failure to inform by other parties selling or distributing the SeatSnug®.
